Who is this supplier who in trying to protect its client, ended up putting its client in more trouble. The problem started when this supplier released a document that violated the confidentiality agreement between the supplier and its client. The document reached the hands of this client’s customers.
The customers called the attention of the client, which in turn called the attention of the supplier on why the confidential document was released. It turns out this supplier did not seek the permission of their client before releasing the said document. Stupidity number one.
Afraid that they might lose their client, this supplier apologizes to their client right away. But not to the customers whom they offended as well because of the confidential document.
Stupidity number two.
Instead of apologizing, this supplier arrogantly told the customers (of client) that they are only answerable to their client and not to its customers. The supplier even challenged the customers to sue them for the booboo they committed. Stupidity number three.
To the client, if I were you, you better drop this supplier of yours. Rather than helping you become successful, this supplier of yours are putting you in bad light. After this incident, you might lose some of your customers in the end.
To this supplier, you have no business being arrogant with your client’s customer. You’re selling your products to your client – who do you think is buying the products? The very customers you yelled at and challenged to bring you to court.
Just for the sake of saving someones interest, its so hard to measure the extent of this supplier’s stupidity.
The affected customers were so disappointed that is why this supplier’s secret is a secret no more.
