Let bygones be bygones

Who is this company who after badmouthing a reporter, is now courting / convincing the same reporter to write a story about their company?

This company reacted profusely to an article released by this reporter, saying a lot of bad things and of course denying the story. The reporter stood by his/her story, that it is factual and is collaborated with proofs.

Years have passed, all of sudden this company contacted this reporter to witness one of their events, and it goes without saying that they want this reporter to write the event as well. This reporter respectfully decline the invitation.

To this company, there are things in this world that can be forgiven but can’t easily be forgotten that is why your secret is a secret no more.

Hush your mouth

Who is this reporter who’s mouth got the better of him/her? This reporter attended a press conference but arrived late – as in really late. You can say the highlight of the event was over.

Instead of apologizing for his/her late arrival, this reporter commented that since the event was over, what story can he/she still write? This reported keeps on complaining that prompted the company owners to approach this reporter to clarify things.

It seems this reporter doesn’t know when to hit the breaks. Rather than just doing his/her job, this reporter continue with his/her complains, saying that it’s a waste of time attending the event.

To this reporter, do not forget that you were LATE. That was the root of the problem. Had you arrived on time, then you could have gotten your story. But even if you missed the highlight of the event, you can still talk to the company owners and create a story from there.

I have one news for you that will surely blow your mind away, one of the attendees of the event (who was listening intently to this reporter’s complains) is a major stockholder of this reporter’s publication. How unlucky can you be?

Your arrogance and stupidity gave you away that is why your secret is a secret no more.

The World is Round

Who is this staff who’s attitude was like a tiger before but is now turning into a pussycat? Everytime you see this staff, boasting will be all over the air. How good he/she is, how great his/her talents, how great their products are, and how their competition are eating their dirt so to speak. In other words, they are first class citizens while the others are simply followers.

But as the saying goes, the world is round. As the song goes — “whats comes up, must come down. Spinning wheel, got to go ’round”. Heard this staff is out of the company or will be out of the company soon, that this staff is no longer a tiger but a tamed pussycat. Actually, this staff is sending message that he/she will soon be available for work if there’s any takers.

To this staff, what happen to your great talents and great products? I thought your competitions are second class citizens and are eating your dirt. Are you saying now you want to eat dirt with them? So far, nobody is interested because they say you’re an arrogant SOB. What is happening to you now is your own doing and you only have yourself to blame.

Your mouth was just too loud and it stinks that is why your secret is a secret no more.
