Liar Liar

Who is this staff who attended an event and left a bad impression to his/her boss? This staff told his/her boss that he/she cannot stay long and had to leave early because he/she has an appointment with a very important client. The boss told this staff if he/she can still reschedule the meeting, but this staff said no and insisted to meet with the client.

After a little over an hour, the event host called the staff’s name for an award. The boss thinking that the staff left signalled to the host that the staff already left to meet a client. Guess what, the staff appeared (with food inside his/her mouth and look drunked as well) to claim his/her award. The boss just shooked his/her head and smiled in disbelief. How could the staff left and be back so soon? The staff must be a magician or own a magic carpet.

To this staff, when you say you’re going somewhere, make sure you’re really going somewhere. If you want to stay for the merriment, then stay. Do not try to impress your boss with your crazy antics and then contradict yourself on the very same time and day. You crazy liar.

Your boss made it clear to the audience that you left but you went up on stage to claim your award that is why your secret is a secret no more.

Take it Take it

Who is this company who’s a certified show-off? Visit their office and you will find quite a number of awards given by groups who are not even known as an authority. The awards, trophies, and plaques are all over their lounge. Read them carefully and you will just scratch your head and wonder where the awards came from.

What prestige or honor will you get from awards given by groups who don’t even have credibility and integrity? You know for a fact that the awards given to your company are tainted with sponsorship from left, right, top, bottom and center.

To this group, awards are given by people who know what they’re doing. Awards are given by people who are respected by the industry and by their peers. Awards are not given by aholes.

Who gave you the right to give awards or citations? What honor do you bring when you yourselves don’t have that honor. You bring the opposite actually — Dishonor. Giving awards and made-up titles just to gain favors or future project sponsorships? Shame on you people.

To this company, accepting awards or citations from non-reputable groups will bring your company bad luck. You will find it hard to explain how you got the awards and who gave it. What criteria was used? Who are your co-nominees? Why was it given?

If you really want trophies to be displayed, then just buy one. Its better to buy a plain and simple trophy rather than receiving a trophy from groups who don’t even understand your industry.

The awards displayed are just too many to ignore that is why your secret is a secret no more.

Minding Your Own Business

Who is this I.T. Company (ITC) who embarked on a project and suddenly drop the project like a hot potato? This ITC invited companies to join their new project. To join, companies should invest a respectable amount of money.

The project was launched and the partners are all in. This ITC promised their partners that they will be behind them all the way. A promise relied upon by their partners.

After the money was already invested by the partners, this ITC changed its mind and decided not to continue with the project anymore. WHAT? Changing the rules at the middle of the ballgame? Worst, this ITC will not return the money. A one way ticket so to speak.

Partners not only invested money to join the project but they also spent a lot of money to promote the project — that is commitment in full display. Not knowing this ITC is not as serious as them.

TO this ITC, not only are you unprofessional but you’re also a selfish SOB. I can sense the start of your downfall in your line of business. Nobody wants to do business with a crazy company like yours. Millions of money are involved here. You don’t turn on and off an agreement when you feel like it, and run away with the money.

A lot of your partners are up in arms that is why your secret is a secret no more.
