Jailhouse Rock

Who is this company who will receive their warrant of arrest very soon? Not the company really, but the owner and the employee. Reason, unpaid bills amounting to millions.

To make the matter worse, the owner and the employee is at odds as well. The owner said the employee took the money, while the employee said he/she has nothing to do with it and it’s the owner who took the money.

Whoever took the money, the fact is there are unpaid accounts. Although I am sure the owner and the employee can afford the bail, getting a warrant of arrest is not a pleasant document to receive, and doubts will definitely be cast between the two which in a way will taint their respective reputation. Who is telling the truth will always be in the minds of those who know them.

If in case the owner and the employee gets jailed and you want to visit them – kindly bring some beauty products, I am sure they still want to look gorgeous inside those cold bars.

The amount is just to big to ignore and the I.T. world is really small that is why their secret is a secret no more.

Snap and Wrong Decision

Who is this I.T. Company (ITC) who made a very big project with two purpose – one for press release and the other to increase their sales?

This ITC made it look like they are actually helping a worthy cause but the real intention was to create a lot of noise and media mileage – in the hope that it would increase their sales.

This ITC went all out – spent millions of DOLLARS, advertisements in all available media mediums – print, TV, radio and online were made. Executives granting interviews left and right.

To cut the story short, the intention to increase the sales did not happen. Worst, the sales even went down. The problem did not end there, since they spent a lot of money – the promises this ITC made to their partners like the incentives were not delivered because they overspent.

What is the lesson here? If you want to help a cause, just help them – do not have a hidden agenda. If you want to do something to increase your sales, review your efforts, plan it carefully then just execute your marketing programs. Calculate the budget so that made commitments can be honored.

I hope this ITC and the executives involved have learned their lessons – that insincerity does not help a bit. You just spent so much and made a lot of unfulfilled commitments that is why your secret is a secret no more.
