Hide And Seek

Who is this I.T. Manager (ITM) who went into a power tripping spree? This ITE played a prank to his/her subordinates by hiding some company products. His/Her entire team went berserk in looking for the products.

This ITM even went to the point of scolding his/her team and asked them to look for the products or pay the price of the products. The entire team gave up and each contributed to cover for the lost products. After the amount was collected, it was the only time that this ITM admitted that he/she hid the products. This made the entire team so mad and some even quit their jobs because they can no longer stand this ITMs antics.

I have a suggestion for you, why don’t you try hiding yourself and I can assure you no one will look for you. Or you better go back to where you came from. Your company is known for maltreating its employees – and your leaders are all power trippers.

You better shape up or your secret will be a secret no more very soon.

Double Trouble

Who is this I.T. Executive (ITE) who will say one thing but is doing another thing? This ITE called a collegue to discuss a certain topic. The topic was a bit sensitive that is why the collegue asked this ITE that the discussion be a secret. This ITE gave his/her word.

Guess what? While the phone conversation was ongoing, this ITE was in a conference, meaning the conference room was full of people. Which means everyone in the room can hear what this ITE is asking and in someway gets to have an idea what the conversation is all about based on this ITEs reaction.

To this ITE, the next time you call someone, kindly go over your dictionary first and look for the meaning of SECRECY, TRUST and WORD OF HONOR. If not, do not make any calls or promises again. The room was just filled with a lot of people that is why your secret is a secret no more.

Change of Heart

Who is this Marcomm manager (MM) who made a deal and then retracted from his/her commitment. This MM negotiated for a discounted fee for a particular event. The event organizer agreed and sent his/her the contract.

A little over a week, the event organizers called this MM to asked if the contract was already signed. This MM said their company will no longer join since they have their own event on the same dates, and that they don’t have enough products to display if they will join both events. The organizers told this MM that the slot was already reserved and they have turned down other sponsors. Guess what this MM said: “Try to get/win them back.”

This MM didn’t even have the descency to apologize for his/her unprofessional act. I just want to remind this MM that your title is Marketing Communications Manager – COMMUNICATION, so you better COMMUNICATE next time, and be professional or your secret will be a secret no more very soon.
